From Popcorn Machine
to Cape Town’s Cup
It started in a lockdown kitchen with too much time and a popcorn machine repurposed as a coffee roaster. 80g at a time, late into the night, mostly to keep a handful of friends supplied.
Five years on, Apothecary Coffee is a Cape Town micro-roastery with a permanent café at Laude Classic Cars, a coffee trailer on the promenade, and a growing list of businesses around the city running on our beans.
